Ronan Wolf and Food

Roro is a good eater and will try most things including handfuls of dirt whenever he gets a chance. We've got 3 chickens now that lay every day but Roro doesn't like eggs very much. He does like meat and chocolate though.

Dinner usually goes like this:

We put Roro in his high chair and cut up some of our dinner and put it in front of him. He eats a bit of it then the dogs swarm him and he starts feeding them. After he's done eating he'll try to escape the high chair and then scream for mommy to hold him. When I try to hold him he will try and smash his fingers into my plate and grab the utensils and finally he will squirm to be let down so he can go to mommy.

He still gets the majority of his food from nursing which is his favorite food of all.

Ronan's 2nd Easter Picnic

This was Ronan Wolf's 2nd Easter Severe/Chandler/Wardle picnic. The first time was when he was only 2 months old so he had no clue what was going on. This year he was old enough to participate in the Easter Egg hunt so the night before we trained him on how to gather eggs so he can get mommy and daddy some sweet sweet candy.

Easter Egg Hunt Roro and the kids getting ready to hunt for eggs.

Ronan's 2nd Easter Picnic

He ended up not really caring about the eggs and just wanted to sit down, open one, and eat the treasure inside. He mostly got bubble gum and Starbursts so it wasn't anything he could have.

The picnic went well. People commented about how little Asian he looked and then Grandma tried to lovingly comfort me and said she thinks his eyes will get slantier when he gets older. Roro got to play in grass and run around for a couple hours before he tripped and fell with a toy and cut the roof of his mouth and bled.

He also had a giant scrape on the top of his head form running and slipping in the patio. (see this post)

During Great Ma's Birthday

We got home from the picnic around 3pm and tried to get him to nap before we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Great Ma's birthday but that wasn't happening. I was exhausted from playing with all the kids and just wanted to nap. I had a nightmare where someone was chasing me with a giant wrench and it turns out Ronan was stabbing my face with a toothbrush the whole time I was sleeping.

We ended up going to have birthday dinner for Great Ma and Roro yanked a chair down while he was trying to climb it. He ate a ton of cake and candy.

It was an exhausting but good day.

Posting From My Phone

Being able to post from your phone is pretty cool. Hopefully I can get a lot of my blogging done during my down times.

Here's what my dad set up at their house for when Roro came over.

Hanna's Birthday Party Rocket Ship Launch

Dean and Logan wanted to see a rocket launched into space so I made them one out of paper and birthday balloons. This is some of the fun stuff that I'm excited to do with Ronan when he gets older.

Ronan The Adventure Baby

Ronan Wolf Lim is all boy. He climbs on everything without regard for his safety and runs at full speed wherever he needs to go. Here's a picture Lauren sent me of him and a giant patio burn he got because he skidded across the patio head first.

The second you turn your back he's used a chair to climb on top of a table. Lauren says she took him to the park and he's climbing and going down the slides all by himself.

Just right now he threw something heavy at Lauren's head and she screamed in pain.

The night before he was dancing with his baby toy radio that plays classical music and slammed me in the head with it while I was laying on the floor.

He is and will be a handful.

Ronan Wolf Blog v.2.0

This is Version 2.0 of the Ronan Blog. When Ronan gets older I'm going to let him design his blog however he likes. I'll document the different versions as they change so he can look back and see what he was like when he was younger.

My First Night With Just Me and Roro

Lauren, her sisters, and her mother went to the Loreena McKennitt concert and left me alone with Ronan for the first time ever.

We spent a lot of the evening at the St. Laurent's house with all the kids. Don bought pizza and Kyle was there with his X-box to entertain the boys.

Roro was wild and was making fussleton sleepy sounds so I took him home. He cried and cried till he passed out while I walked endlessly with him strapped to my chest.

I was pretty exhausted myself and fell asleep on the couch with him on me. I was thirsty and wanted to get something to drink so I stood up and he started whaling.

He ended up stopping around 2:00am when Lauren came home. That was the longest night ever. She owes me some super dad points for that one.
I was pretty proud of myself. I don't know if I could do it again though.

He's super needy and when anything is wrong all he wants is mama. I just don't produce enough milk to get him to stop crying.

Hopefully when he's old enough to look back at this he will see our first night together and remember how torturous he was for daddy.

Thank you, Roro. <3

Ronan Wolf's Blog

Ronan Wolf Lim Sunglasses
Mark Lim - My name is Mark and I am Ronan's dad. Ronan is now 14 months old and I really want to get him started learning computers and the internet early so he can troll forums and make stupid memes ASAP.

This blog is going to be written by me at first and then hopefully Ronan will take over and continue blogging when he is able. It's probably not likely considering that I've started a dozen blogs that I have never committed to being consistent with.

The goal of this is to help Ronan with his reading and writing skills, get him familiar and excited with computers and internet,  and enhance his creativity.

Ronan Wolf's Blog Version 1.0

I'm actually going to test this out on some other guinea pigs, (his cousins Dean and Logan) and see if they're into it. I'm sure they can get interested about posting pictures of Transformers and talking about what they want for Christmas. When they're old enough to be embarrassed by it, they can look back and see what they were like as 5 & 6 year olds.

So this is for you, Ronan. I hope you'll use this to learn and gain some enjoyment.
